OUR STORY

" Hi everyone!

I'm Kayo from Japan. I graduated with honors in the US and have worked for the US government before moving to Japan as a Marketing Manager. Now, I'm in Italy to help children learn English with GrapeSEED.

When I was 4, I attended  a kindergarten run by American missionaries who wanted to offer  Japanese children the opportunity to learn English well  to improve their future. So I was able to travel and study between the United States and Australia, graduating both in Japan and in the United States.

When my son turned 4  I looked for a school in Salerno that could guarantee him the same educational experience as me in learning the English language, but I could not find any school that could guarantee me bilingualism. So I took him to Japan where he attended the same kindergarten as me. At the time my son didn't read in Italian, but after a month of attendance he started reading in English. I was amazed!

Then it was explained to me that the GrapeSEED learning method, used by the school, had been perfected with a team of American specialists and then adopted also in public schools in the United States. This method can start with young children as languages are easier to learn in childhood and more likely to persist.

It is also easier to learn sounds and the relative ability to recognize and reproduce them. I wanted to bring this method here to offer the same possibility to our children to learn English with GrapeSEED. This is the only school certified with this method in Italy.

We will be happy to take care of your children in learning English."
