"Hi everyone!
My name is Kate and I am originally from NY, USA ….and now living in SALERNO with my husband and our three children.
I have a love for all things health & wellness as well as a passion for travel!
This passion for traveling has led me to develop a fondness and interest in different cultures, languages, and experiences all the while sharing my own knowledge of the English language and American culture in return.
These days, in my free time, I enjoy going to the beach with my children and taking day trips to explore the local Campagna region!"

"I am certainly open to differing approaches that AIS have found merit in, but my foundational understanding of language acquisition adheres to an emphasis on the importance of others in social interaction and guided participatory learning.

Moreover, I believe the best contemporary version of this is Task Based Learning, with the teacher focusing on getting the students to complete a task with the guidelines of a pre-task, tasks, and post-task stages insuring a level of structure. Students become more empowered and motivated when they complete tasks because they take ownership of the language and control the task response.

Grammatical focus is not to be neglected and can follow with the use of selected textbooks."
